The event will allow you to socialise with your colleagues and make new acquaintances over a 3-course dinner and drinks.

Please note: the dinner is not included in any registration type and needs to be purchased separately for all delegates and guests.

Friday 14 May

On day three we will break into two groups for the QAL site visit. Group A will be a tour only for forum delegates who have registered for the full program or tour only. Group B will be those delegates that undertook the TSL Training and will conduct the onsite inspection component of the training onsite at QAL.

PLEASE NOTE: You will be required to bring PPE gear with you for the site tours.  The PPE required for site tours is as follows:

  • Safety boots (not necessary to be steel top cap)
  • Long sleeve shirt and long pants
  • Safety glasses
  • A hat (a hard hat is not required but a hat/cap for sun protection).

All attendees to the tours will also be required to have their temperature taken; undertake a swab test and will be required to download the Qld Safe App for QR scanning into the site.

8:30am – 1:00pm – Tailings Dam Operators Forum Tour (Group A)

Oaks Grand Hotel – The Rockefeller Room

  • Delegates will meet in the foyer of the Oaks Grand Hotel at 8:15 am ready for an 8:30am departure to QAL. Packed morning tea will be provided.
  • Coach will return to the Oaks Grand Hotel for lunch at 12noon.
  • 1:00pm close. Delegates will need to make their own travel arrangements from there.

 

8:30am – 2:00pm – Tailings Dam Operators Training Site inspection (Group B)

Oaks Grand Hotel – The MacArthur Room

  • Delegates that attended the TSL training will meet in the foyer of the Oaks Grand Hotel at 8:15 am ready for an 8:30am departure to QAL. Packed morning tea will be provided.
  • Coach will return to the Oaks Grand Hotel by 1:00pm for a sum up of the training and to finalise assessments. Sit down working lunch will be provided.
  • 2:00pm close. Delegates will need to make their own travel arrangements from there.
