Gerard V is a comedy stage hypnotist and MC now based in Australia and performing all over Australia, NZ and the USA.
He has a fun quirky style and does a clean show that engages and delights the audience while never picking people out of the crowd or hypnotising anyone who didn't volunteer for that.
He described himself as a recovering IT professional and has had senior IT management roles at NZ Police and NZ Post, as well as in advertising and sales.
When asked why he became a full-time professional entertainer he'll tell you that corporate life had become stressful and political, and he could see a niche for someone to do stage hypnosis without any chicken gags and without a hint of being mean.
He is qualified as a hypnotherapist but for the last 20 years has focused on doing the funniest, most amazing comedy hypnosis shows.
On the day his only objective is that everyone should have a great time. Everyone.
